Assign Portlets to Content Types on Plone
How to assign portlets to content types so Plone objects so that whenever a content item is created the portlet appears beside it.
Head to your Plone Control Panel, you can do this by appending '/plone_control_panel' to the end of your website URL.
From there go to the 'Types' heading.
Select the type of object you want the portlet to appear for (use the upper most drop down menu on the page).
Select "Manage portlets for this type"
Add a portlet you want to appear, every time you add that particular type to the site, the same portlet type will appear along side it. You can also assign multiple portlets here, much the same as applying portlets to a page.
